Mitten Knitten

I am happy to report that my mitten class went very well today. We laughed a lot and learned the basics of knitting mittens with thumb gusset on double point needles. I think next time all will be ready to learn the magic loop or 2-circs method. The pattern that I wrote can also be used for fingerless mitts.

The next pattern I am going to try is the Knucks pattern from Knitty.com

Those look like a lot of fun.
