Since I need a cowl for in the car and I do not want the good, hand-wash only one getting grubby, I decided to knit one out of the Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick in Fig (yes, that is a shade of purple).
On this one I decided I needed to try a different bind off to give it a little more interest. So I chose to do a picot bind off. In this case, I had a 56 stitch cast on, so when I went to bind off I cast on two, bound off (or as Lucy Neatby says "killed") four stitches and repeated to the end.
I think it turned out looking like a sea creature of some kind. I will be writing up the pattern and adding it to Ravelry in the near future.
I hope everyone if finding fun ways to make your projects pop~!
