My brother has a birthday coming up (the one in Missouri) and I got him a book that I think he will really enjoy. But instead of just sending the book, I decided that he needed something hand-knit as well. Voila, a bookmark. I knit it on size 2 US dpns and some of the leftover Watermelon Vesper yarn that I did the socks out of while we road-tripped together. No pics because I will give the birthday book surprise away, but I can say, I cast on 4 stitches and did I-cord until the book mark was long enough to hang out of either end of the hard cover book.
