While I was surfing the Net, looking for strip tube quilting ideas I ran across one from Tula Pink.

It is called Totally Tubular and I fell in love with the idea. I found a tutorial on Cottage Mama and she mentions the Tula Pink book that it can be found in.

I did something a little different to include some strip piecing on 3 1/2 inch by 10 inch paper to showcase some of my smaller scraps then assembled them using the TT method.

Here is what I have so far, another one that I will show you a finished product a little later.

This method is really fun and will showcase rectangular pieces of your favorite focal prints with a nice background, good for a variety of fabric lines.
Now who would have guessed that Belgian waffles would be involved in a quilting class? I had now idea until I attended the Coffee Club at Nuts and Bolts.

We cut strips of fabric and sewed them together into a very fun block that accentuated fun fabrics in center block set while enjoying coffee and Belgian waffles.

It was great fun. Here is what I have accomplished so far, will post a finished picture when I get it assembled.
